I’m originally from Russia and moved to the UK in 2004. My career in Russia was in teaching, but I decided to move to a different career. I worked at HSBC starting as a cashier then moving upwards, ending up in universal banking. At this point I studied to become a mortgage advisor then decided to take a leap of faith and concentrate on this area only. I’m based in Barnstaple and I’m flexible on where and how I meet with clients.
I see a lot of first time buyers and I really enjoy helping them to achieve their ambition to own their first home. I also help settled foreigners who want to buy here but don’t understand the UK property market. I love to help them through the process, and because of my own background I have language skills that come in useful. Obviously I speak Russian, but I can linguistically support those from countries such as Romania and Ukraine. I love what I do – I had a lot of help when I bought in the UK, so I’m happy to make it easier for those who want to build their own lives here.
I’m mum to two boys so I’m always busy with them, and I love gardening. I particularly enjoy planting and propagating exotic plants.
